Cyber Conquest @ Dakota Con

Starting in 2023 I have created and lead a team to build and run the Cyber Conquest competition at Dakota Con. I introduced “physical services” which are services which have a real world component similar to industrial control systems. A few highlights include windmills, cranes, traffic lights, water towers, a drawbridge. We start planning in the fall planning out what systems, services, and physical services we are going to have, and organizing a team to build them.…

About

A friend and I have a homelab setup between our houses. We have been slowly amassing assorted old and new hardware to add to this lab so that we have a fun playground and can host all the game servers and websites we want. I have IPsec tunnels set up so that we can access any of our infrastructure across our 3 physical sites.

Most recent post

I realized a few years ago that I do many cool projects, and people seem to enjoy hearing about them, so I decided to start writing up some of them. I only have a few posts at the moment, more to come eventually.
